To The Driftwood Fire Battalion Web Site

Driftwood Fire Battalion is one of three that make up Hays County Emergency Service District # 6. We protect Northern Hays County with a combination of full-time/ part-time paid and volunteer firefighters, operating under Fire Chief Tim Gothard and Battalion Chief Christopher Hartley.

Driftwood Fire protects 47 square miles, and a growing population. We respond to fire, medical emergencies, and rescue calls out of the Driftwood Fire Station located at 15850 FM 1826. Anyone is welcome to come by and meet the firefighters, or learn more about becoming a firefighter. 

We are staffed Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, and hold training every Tuesday at 7:00pm. Enjoy the web site and if you have any question or commits please contact us or stop by the station.
